What is FetchKomi?
FetchKomi is a platform for downloading social media videos, GIFs, and even playlists into a clean, fast, and ad-free experience.
Use it when you want to:
- Save content offline (travel, spotty Wi‑Fi, commuting).
- Grab a quick GIF/video for sharing or reference.
- Collect and organize media in one place using your personal Library.
What platforms are supported?
FetchKomi officially supports:
- YouTube (including Shorts)
- TikTok
- Instagram (Reels and posts)
- Reddit (videos and GIFs)
- X (formerly Twitter)
Other platforms may work sometimes, but we don’t guarantee compatibility. Social platforms change frequently, so if something breaks, let us know and we’ll investigate.
Is FetchKomi free?
FetchKomi has a limited free tier.
We apply a free download quota every hour. If you exceed the hourly quota, you may see a notification that you’ve hit the limit. When that happens, you can:
- Wait for the next quota refresh, or
- Upgrade to Pro to remove limits and unlock power features.
What is FetchKomi pricing?
FetchKomi offers a subscription plan called Pro that unlocks:
- Unlimited downloads (videos, GIFs, and playlists)
- Playlist-to-Library workflows (playlists appear like a normal Library folder)
- Download Libraries as .zip files
- Convenient integrations (bots and faster sharing flows)
- Library storage and long-running background downloads
For current pricing and plan details, see the Pricing page: /pricing.
What is a Library?
Your Library is where FetchKomi stores your downloaded media inside your account-think of it like a set of folders for your videos and GIFs.
When you have Pro, you’ll see an “Add to library” option. Typical flow:
- Submit a supported link (video / GIF / playlist).
- Click Add to library.
- The media appears in your Default Library.
- Create additional Libraries to keep things organized (e.g. “Recipes”, “Gym”, “Memes”, “Study”).
Once content is in a Library, you can come back later to download again, batch download, or archive.
How do I download a Library to a .zip file?
You can download an entire Library as a .zip in two steps:
- Go to your Libraries page: /library
- Open the Library you want.
- Click Archive to .zip and wait a moment while we prepare the archive.
- When it’s ready, you’ll see a Download .zip button-click it to download.
If your Library is large, archiving can take a bit. You can leave the page and come back-your archive job will continue in the background.
How can I download a YouTube playlist?
Submitting a playlist is easy:
- Paste the YouTube playlist link on the homepage: /
- Wait for FetchKomi to detect the playlist.
In some cases, you’ll initially see metadata for a single video first-just give it a little more time. Once the playlist is detected, you should see a thumbnail slideshow for multiple items.
Then:
- Choose your desired format and quality
- Start the download
- Visit your Libraries page: /library
- You’ll see progress while the playlist is being processed
When it’s finished, you can download everything as a .zip.
Side note: A YouTube playlist will appear as a normal Library (folder) in your Libraries page.
What if I closed the page while downloading?
No worries-downloads continue in the background.
If you close the tab or refresh, just go back to:
You should see your item (or playlist/library) with a status update and a download button when it’s ready.
How can I use your download bots?
FetchKomi supports bot-based downloading (where available) to make mobile saves easier.
Here’s the setup:
- Open Settings: /settings
- Copy your integration code
- Send a message to one of our bots with only the code
- Wait for the confirmation message
After pairing, you can submit links by sending or forwarding them (using the social app’s Share option is usually fastest). The bot will respond with an attachment you can save to your device (e.g. Camera Roll on mobile).
I have a problem or a bug-how can I contact you?
If something isn't working, we want to fix it quickly.
- Discord: message our team in the #general channel
- Telegram: message @fetchkomi
You can also find more contact options here: /contact.
When reporting a bug, it helps a lot if you include:
- The link you tried (if possible)
- What device/browser you’re using
- What you expected vs. what happened
- A screenshot/screen recording
I have a feature request-will it be implemented?
Yes-tell us what you want and why it's useful.
We actively prioritize new download features based on real requests (especially for platforms and workflows you use most). Send your request via Discord/Telegram or the contact page, and we’ll track it.
Ready to download?
Go to the homepage and paste your link: /. If you’re power-downloading playlists or building collections, Pro + Library is the fastest workflow.
